Happy New Year!
This last year was full of wonderful opportunities, and Lord willing, 2025 will provide even more! There are a few updates of note in this post, so make sure to read it all!
Owyhee Summer is Online!
To start off the new year, we are finally releasing Owyhee Summer on our website and YouTube for free! Thank you for your patience in waiting to see this long-expected nature documentary!

2024 Recap
One of the goals for Creation in Focus in 2024 was to make two mini-documentaries, and one 30-minute documentary. Well, that didn’t quite happen as planned, but we were able to complete one of the mini-documentaries!
Documentary
As was described in a previous post, we were able to film an 8-minute mini-documentary about four species of squirrels from central Idaho during the summer. After that, we wrote a script and edited the documentary together before the November 1st submission deadline for the 2025 Christian Worldview Film Festival! The documentary From Bough to Burrow will be released on the Creation in Focus website and YouTube channel in early February 2025, so keep a lookout for that update!
Blog
We were able to publish monthly updates and blog posts throughout the year. There were beautiful photos to enjoy, animals to learn about, and the Creator to praise!
Website
At the end of 2024, we began updating the user interface and design of the Creation in Focus website, and it is now complete! Hopefully you enjoy the updated look and notice that things are easier to find!
Looking Ahead to 2025
Goals for 2025 remain similar to the ones from 2024, although it may not be feasible to make a 30-minute documentary, which was the case last year. Lord willing, several mini-documentaries can be produced! Each one will be available to watch on the website and YouTube. There are a few potential filming opportunities that have yet to be confirmed for this year, but more content may be produced this year if everything goes well (Lord willing, of course)!

Final Thought
The newness of the year (and the early-emerging greenery!) reminds me of the Lord’s promise in His Word that He will one day make a new heavens and a new earth — in other words, all things! I look forward to spending eternity with my Creator, the Alpha and the Omega, drinking from His spring of the water of life! Thank you Lord!
And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.
